How Mark Thomas has supported HFS
Mark's first visit to HFS
Mark visited Hastings Furniture Service in November 2008 to see our Bexhill store and launch our new third van. The visit gave us some great publicity.
Mark was impressed with the charity, saying "HFS is changing the world - one chair at a time!"
Mark and Wil Hodgson gave a benefit gig for our 21st birthday
In October 2009 Mark and Wil generously gave their time to perform at Azur in St Leonards to raise awareness and funds for Hastings Furniture Service. We sold out the venue and over 400 people had a fantastic night out.
HFS was proud to invite fellow social enterprises Hastings & Bexhill Wood Recycling Project and Visionary Soap Company to hold information stalls at the event.
The show was part of Mark's Manifesto tour, which has encouraged audiences throughout the country to put forward their ideas for policies. The People's Manifesto book includes Hastings' policy.
