HFS is a registered training centre. All our training focusses on practical, useful skills and understanding. There are no exams. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive. We work with small groups in our own workshops or informal community settings.
We have a track record of joining forces with lots of different partner organisations to bring people with low incomes free courses.
POP-UP WORKSHOPS
We are running pop-up workshops in partnership with AmicusHorizon housing association in Hastings and Rother.
You can join a group in your neighbourhood and choose your own training programme from our menu of DIY and craft projects. All the materials and tools you need will be provided.
If you attend all six sessions you will earn stamps on a reward card giving you money off furniture at HFS stores too!
